I’m running for District 1 commissioner and would love to hear your concerns and suggestions. I’m excited about possibly the opportunity to make a positive difference in our county.
I was born and raised right here in Heard County. My grandfather, Joe D Stephens Sr, was a county commissioner way before I was born. I was raised to be a leader and to stand up for what you believe. I taught school for 15 years and have co-owned Newnan Bonding Company for over 20 years. I have served on many non profit board of directors to facilitate giving back to our community. Due to the need in our county, I am currently a substitute teacher for our schools every chance I get. Serving others and protecting our county is a top priority for me. We live in a piece of heaven on earth and we need to ensure that we make decisions that will ensure our children and grandchildren will enjoy the same.
