The Heard County Parks & Recreation Department's 8 &
Under All Star Basketball team won the GRPA District 4
Championship Saturday, February 27 against a strong
Manchester team. The Braves defeated the Blue Devils 36-23
in a very exciting game from start to beginning.
The are coached by Head Coach Shane Wright with Chris
Raines and Cedric Emory assisting. The Braves now move
forward to the GRPA State Tournament being held at the New
Heard County Recreation Complex on Thompson Road in
Heard County this Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th.
If you want to see the best basketball in the State,
come out and support the Braves 8 & Under team this
weekend.
