The News and Banner - The City of Franklin held a special meeting Friday January 1, 2010 at
10 a.m. at City Hall to swear in the Mayor and Council Members for the next four years. The
meeting was opened by City Clerk Myra Braswell. Councilman Hamil gave the invocation.
Teresa Chapman was sworn in first as the Mayor. Johnny Adams, Willie "Bo" Almond, Jr,
Jimmy Hamil, Shane Manders and Joel Rogers were sworn in collectively as the new city
council. The Mayor and Council members were sworn in by the city clerk.
