Robert Elam the pioneer who started this Franklin Georgia Website is stepping down as
director and webmaster of this site. It has been 7 years now and I have enjoyed every minute.
As a once photographer in the town, I had started this site as just a extra hobby and to give a
little service to the community. Never could I imagine that we would reach over 179,000 visitors
to a local town website but it reached that point today. The website has been able to share
information and news to the community in an instant notice. And I loved that. Even after
moving out of state I was able to keep it going. Well there is a time to move on and the time
has come. I am looking to see who can take over the site to keep it going if possible. says

You did a great job on the Franklin website. It's a shame it might go downhill from here out.
