Drug Investigation Leads To Arrest of Four Individuals
and More Expected

During the afternoon hours on Friday, September 14th, law enforcement officers of the West Metro
Regional Drug Enforcement Office, Franklin Police Department, and Heard County Sheriff’s
Department served a warrant at 297 Mary Johnson Drive, after a lengthy investigation revealed the
sale of narcotics from several individuals at that residence.

During the investigation, agents from the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office identified
individuals and conducted controlled purchases of narcotics on numerous occasions. Arrest warrants
were issued for these individuals and on September 14th law enforcement officers began their
search to execute the arrest warrants.

Dustin Lamar Swint was arrested at the residence after law enforcement officers observed him sitting
on the front porch, during the afternoon hours. He was charged with three felony counts for the sale
of crack cocaine and marijuana. In addition to the individuals identified during the investigation,
Jonathan Cammon and Roderick Keith of 297 Mary Johnson Drive were charged with Disorderly
House, after warnings had been issued in the past by law enforcement that if the sale of narcotic
continued from the residence they would be charged, since they rent the residence where these
sales were being conducted.

Prior to this investigation, law enforcement officers from these agencies executed search warrants in
2010 and 2011, after investigations identified individuals selling narcotics at the same residence.
Since then these agencies had continued to receive information that the sales had continued, which
was confirmed by yet another investigation by the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

On September 19th, Larry Donnell Swint was arrested at Jordan’s Quick Stop, located at 2468
Franklin Parkway, after he was observed by law enforcement officers who were familiar with an active
warrant for his arrest. The felony arrest warrant for the sale of crack cocaine was one of the
numerous warrants issued by the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

Law enforcement officers are still searching for individuals that were identified during this
investigation but additional arrest are expected in the near future.

“This in depth investigation consisted of numerous hours, over an extended period of time by agents
with the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office. I appreciate the hard work these agents put
forth in keeping our community safe by continuing to identify drug dealers and working closely with
our department to accomplish the same goals. We strongly encourage and greatly appreciate
information we receive from our citizens, which is often a key factor in identifying these illegal
operations. I would also like to the Heard County Sheriff’s Department for detaching one of it’s
employees to the West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office so that our county can be a part of
this multi-jurisdictional task force”, stated Chief Kevin Hannah.
