The local Heard County Board of Commissioner's election is fast
approaching. Several local residents qualified before the April 30th deadline
and will be campaigning for a opportunity to serve their fellow citizens.
The following residents have qualified for the Heard County Board of
Commissioners district elections:

District 5:                                          
Joe Adams, Republican           -         40%                          
Darrell Pugh, Republican        -           3%
Sandi Allen, Democrat             -         57%

The following are IMPORTANT dates and deadlines with the upcoming
election:
  • June 21st - Deadline to register to vote for the Primary Election
  • July 20th - Primary Election - Republican vs Democrat to decide who
    will represent their party in the General Election
  • August 10th - Run-off if required from the Primary Election
  • October 4th - Deadline to register to vote for the General Election
  • November 2nd - General Election
  • November 30th - Run-off if required from the General Election
